Level 2 Chemistry (Externals) sciPAD

Level 2 Chemistry is completely updated for 2027 and now in full colour, giving students a clearer, more engaging way to build the understanding and confidence needed for NCEA success.

This sciPAD provides structured coverage of all three externally assessed Level 2 Chemistry standards: Chemistry 2.4, Chemistry 2.5 and Chemistry 2.6. Clear explanations, scaffolded activities, worked examples and exam focused practice help students make sense of important chemical ideas and apply them with confidence.

Students are supported to describe and explain bonding, structure, properties and energy change, understand the properties of selected organic compounds and develop confidence with chemical reactivity. Effective diagrams, key vocabulary, regular quick checks and carefully structured questions help students interpret information, use accurate scientific language and build clear, well-supported responses.

The workbook includes NCEA style questions throughout, giving students regular opportunities to practise applying their knowledge in both familiar and unfamiliar contexts. Two pages of review activities at the end of every unit help consolidate learning, check understanding and revisit key ideas.
