Last week, we shared our newly updated Year 9 sciPAD .
Today, we’re excited to share the new 2027 Year 10 sciPAD.
Both the printed sciPAD and sciPAD Online have been comprehensively updated to align with the new curriculum.
And this hasn’t simply meant changing a few pages.
We’ve worked through the new curriculum carefully, reviewing the content, sequencing, contexts, activities and questions throughout the Year 10 sciPAD. At the same time, we’ve been updating the videos, animations, simulations, quizzes and other learning resources available through sciPAD Online.
With Year 9 and Year 10 now complete, Science departments can start seeing what a coherent two year Science programme aligned with the new curriculum could look like.
We’re calling this a draft version because we still want to give it one final polish before the finished books go to print. But we also know there’s no point keeping it hidden away at sciPAD HQ while teachers are busy planning courses, programmes and budgets for next year.
Take a look inside
You don't need to wait for the printed books to arrive. We've made the complete 2027 Year 10 sciPAD available online so you can start reviewing the resource and planning your 2027 Science programme now.

We know that implementing a new curriculum creates a huge amount of work for teachers. We’re working hard to make that transition easier.
Ngā mihi, Team sciPAD 🤓
P.S. We’re also finalising detailed curriculum mapping showing exactly where the new Science curriculum learning objectives are addressed throughout the new sciPADs. We’ll share that with you soon.
