2. Draw a circuit diagram that contains a battery with 2 cells, 3 light bulbs in a row (series),
and a switch.
Drawing Circuit Diagrams
When drawing circuit diagrams you must observe these rules:
•
All lines must be ruled (as for most scientific diagrams).
•
Use symbols not pictures of components.
•
All lines must touch accurately (no over-hangs or gaps).
•
Components must not be drawn on corners.
•
The diagram should have perpendicular (90°) corners.
The diagram on the right breaks every rule and would score
very little in an assessment.
1. Redraw the diagram shown above correctly in the space below. Be sure to remove all the
mistakes and use the rules for drawing circuit diagrams.
